Tegelikult ei ole ma kindel, et muidu tavapäraselt “kuivamaa” linnud vaid jahutamise eesmärgil suplema kipuvad. Ka pildil olev suplus toimub varasel hommikutunnil, kui minul hakkas jahe kaamera taga istudes. Hoolimata südasuvest, mõistsin, et oleksin pidanud selga panema talvevesti. Sõber Arne Kiin teab rääkida, et meil talvituvad väikelinnud suplevad veel hilissügiselgi suure mõnuga jää tükkide seguses vees.
