Üle pika aja üks õlimaali stiliseeringuga foto. Looduses liikudes olen pildistanud palju kaadreid selle teadmisega, et foto saamine on siin võimalik vaid nimetatud stiliseeringu abil. Samas proovin ikka ja jälle ka teisi võimalusi, püüdmaks fotol välja tuua just nimelt seda emotsiooni, mida annab loodus minule. Väljend “foto saamine” ei ole minu puhul siiski päris korrektne, sest ma ei taotle enam ammu oma tööde mahtumist klassikalise foto kaanonitesse. Fotograafilisel meetodil talletan ma tooriku, millest edaspidi vormin välja lõpliku tulemuse. Ja see tulemus ei pruugi anda isegi mitte vihjeid sellele, et tööd on alustatud valgusega joonistades.
After a long time, a photo with a stylized by oil painting method. While moving in nature, I have taken many shots with the knowledge that getting a photo here is possible only with the help of the mentioned stylization. At the same time, I try other ways again and again, to try to bring out in the photo exactly the emotion that nature gives me. However, the expression “getting a photo” is not quite correct in my case, because I no longer seek to fit my works into the canons of classical photography. Using the photographic method, I store the blank, from which I will later shape the final result. And this result may not even give hints that the work has been started by drawing with light.
